Hello! I'm Yasmin from the UAE, and I'm planning a trip to Korea next month for some aesthetic treatments. Thankfully, I've finalized everything with the clinic, but I'm unsure about what exactly I should buy here before I go versus what to purchase there.
I've been thinking about this because the recovery period for the first week or so will be spent in the hotel. I've heard that the climate in Korea is different from here, and my skin might need specific care afterward. What essential items do you recommend? For example, should I buy a cooling mask here, or is it better to get one there? And has anyone used a specific soothing gel, or does any type work?
I'm also curious if silicone sheets for scars are actually effective or if it's more of a wishful thinking thing 😅 I don't want to pack unnecessary items, but at the same time, I don't want to miss out on the first week without proper care. Thanks to everyone who shares their experiences!

Yasmin, that's a great question! You mentioned you'll be staying at a hotel during your recovery. How much do you actually find the humidity in Korea to be a concern? I have dry skin too, so I was wondering if it might be easier to find products that suit my skin by buying them locally. What's your experience been like?
