Letters after completing the petit procedure + preparing for the trip.

Hi! My name is Pat, and I have a question. I'm going on a trip abroad for 2-3 weeks, and my mom wants to get a small petit procedure done before we go, but she's worried about post-procedure care and what to pack.

Has anyone had a similar experience? What should I prepare to minimize swelling after the procedure? I understand that keeping things cool is important, but will flying and travel increase swelling?

Also, what should I bring on the plane to help with post-procedure care that's easily accessible for use on the flight? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
