Hi everyone, I'm Min. I'm considering getting a minor cosmetic treatment in Korea, but as a foreigner, I'm really unsure where to begin. My biggest worry is finding a reliable clinic, because language barriers and trust are crucial.
I'd like to ask everyone, how did you find your clinics? For example, did you use any platforms or online communities for recommendations? Another question is, is it necessary to find a clinic with a translator during the consultation? My English is okay, but medical terminology is a bit difficult. Has anyone used a translation service? Are they reliable?
Also, what questions should I ask the doctor during the consultation? I've heard that you can tell a clinic's professionalism by how the doctor explains things. Could anyone share their experiences? For example, how did the doctor communicate with you, and what was the clinic environment like?
Thank you!

I'm a foreigner too, so I understand your concerns! My little tip is to look for places with English-speaking staff or translation services, because, as you said, medical terminology is really difficult to understand. I think thorough communication during the first consultation is very important – if you feel they listen and explain carefully, that's a good sign!
