Hi everyone! I'm Shuting from Taiwan. I'm recently considering getting some skin treatments in Seoul, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is pretty good, but Mandarin (Traditional Chinese) is of course the most comfortable for me. I wanted to ask everyone, is English communication sufficient for consultations at clinics in Seoul? Or do I absolutely need to know Korean or prepare a translator?
I've heard that many clinics offer English consultations, but I'm not sure if all places have this service. Has anyone recently visited Seoul for a consultation? How did you communicate? Did you use translation apps? Or do you have any suggestions to make communication smoother?
I don't want to have misunderstandings due to language issues, especially since I need to clearly explain my needs and expectations during the consultation, right? I really appreciate any advice you can share! 💕
