Hi everyone, I'm Lien from Vietnam and I'm considering getting some beauty procedures done in Korea. However, I'm facing a big challenge because I can't read Korean very well. So, when I look at reviews on Korean websites, I have no idea which ones are trustworthy. Do any of you have tips on how to distinguish between real and fake reviews?
I also want to ask about any warning signs I should look out for. For example, what kind of website writing style should make me suspicious, or what actions by a clinic should I be cautious about? I know not every method is perfect, but any advice from you all would be greatly helpful.
Thank you in advance! I'm really stressed about the fear of choosing the wrong place.

Rien, I totally get how you feel! I have similar concerns with a friend who came from Vietnam, and honestly, it's really hard to tell which reviews are genuine, isn't it? I don't believe all the reviews written in Japanese either; I compare several sites and check ones with detailed photos. I hope we can gather information carefully together and make a good choice 😊
Hey Lien, I totally get the anxiety—I'm from the US and went through the exact same thing when I first started looking into treatments here! Honestly, I found that looking for reviews with lots of specific details and photos (rather than super polished ones) helped me feel more confident, and I always tried to ask questions directly to clinics in English or through translation apps to see how they responded. It's nerve-wracking, but taking your time to research and maybe connecting with other expat friends who've been through it can really help ease the worry!
