Hi everyone! I'm Dewi from Indonesia. So, I'm planning to have a minor procedure in Korea but have to fly home a few days after. I'm a bit worried about the swelling and how to care for it during the trip and at home.
Can anyone share any tips for managing swelling in the first few days? I've heard that cold compresses are important, but I'm not sure how long or how often. Also, what products are worth bringing from here versus buying in Indonesia? I'm worried that local products won't suit my newly treated skin.
I'm also curious, how long does it usually take for the swelling to go down? I want to know a realistic timeline so I can plan my activities accordingly. And do you have any suggestions for in-flight care? I'm worried that liquid products might cause problems at the airport or even make the swelling worse.
Thanks so much if anyone would share their experience! 🙏

I also flew back to China right after my skincare treatment. My experience was that you really need to stick to cold compresses for the first three days. I brought some light sheet masks and moisturizing sprays on the plane. Liquid products are a bit inconvenient, but solid masks and sprays are fine. After returning home, I continued to moisturize and use sunscreen, and I felt I needed to be even more careful than when I was in Korea. Best of luck!
