Hello everyone, I'm Ying. I've been thinking about getting some medical aesthetic procedures done in Korea recently, but honestly, I'm a bit unsure where to start. As someone from mainland China, my biggest concerns are language barriers and trust. I wanted to ask you all, how do you find reliable clinics? Do you get recommendations from friends, or do you have any special channels?
Another question is about translation and consultations. What kind of language support do doctors usually offer during consultations? Do you hire your own translator, or do the clinics themselves have Chinese-speaking staff or translation services? I've heard that some places have Chinese-speaking consultants, but I'm not sure how common that is in Korea. Also, what should I focus on when choosing a clinic before making a decision? For example, should I look at the doctor's qualifications, the clinic's environment, or should I focus on their past cases?
I would be so grateful if anyone has any experience to share! I'm especially keen to hear any advice on what questions to ask during the initial consultation.

Hey Ying, I'm also from abroad so I understand your concerns! I wanted to ask if you've ever looked into this through friends or online communities, or if this is your first time researching this topic? I'm also struggling with whether to find someone to introduce me to this or search directly online 😅
