Hi everyone, I'm currently struggling with a dilemma and would like to hear your thoughts. I've been wanting to get a certain treatment done, and there are quite a few clinics in Taiwan that offer it, but I've also heard that South Korea has a great reputation in this area. The biggest issues are cost and time—flying there requires taking time off work, accommodation, and extra travel expenses, but on the other hand, I'm wondering if it's worth it?
I don't have much medical knowledge, but I feel like South Korea's cosmetic surgery culture is quite mature? But I don't know if that's just a stereotype. Have any of you consulted with doctors in both Taiwan and South Korea before making your decision? How did you compare them? Did you just look at the price, or were there other considerations?
Actually, I'm also a little worried about what to do about aftercare or problems if I get it done in South Korea, given the long distance... But if I get it done in Taiwan, I feel like I might be missing something. Has anyone experienced this dilemma? I'd love to hear your honest thoughts and experiences!

I'm thinking about this too! Have you looked into the cost of living in Taiwan and South Korea, or have you just not checked the specific prices?
I completely understand your concerns! I also struggled between Taiwan and South Korea before, but ultimately decided to try Taiwan first because follow-up care is so much easier. Although I've heard that South Korea has excellent technology, since both places have good doctors, I feel more at ease choosing a place closer to home for recovery 😊
