I've heard a lot about the doctors there and the advanced techniques, but I'm really hesitant now – is it really worth all the trouble, expense, and time away from home? I actually need the surgery because I feel my eyes need this change, but should I go all that way instead of trying it locally first?

Honestly, I'm a bit worried about the practical aspects – like how will I manage the post-operative period from here? And if complications arise or I need follow-up appointments, how will I cope with the time difference? I also don't have a clear idea about the actual costs. Are they really cheaper than in the Gulf, or is it roughly the same?

Has anyone here been in a similar situation and traveled from the Gulf to Seoul? How did you organize it? And how did you choose the doctor and clinic without seeing them in person? Any advice would help me make a better decision?
