My 8-year-old son is far below average height. Where should I get information?
Hello, I am a 49-year-old mom raising an 8-year-old son. I went to pick up my son at his art academy today, and when I saw him putting on his shoes with his friends at the entrance, my heart sank because he looked so noticeably smaller than everyone else. They say the average height for an 8-year-old is around 128cm, but my son is only 117cm. An 11cm difference is immediately noticeable in photos, isn't it? Whenever we go shopping for clothes, sizes for his age are always too loose, so I have to buy one size smaller every time. I also heard that he can't wash at the school sink without a step stool. I even enrolled him in swimming lessons and gave him supplements to try and catch up to the average height for an 8-year-old, but I have absolutely no idea what is actually working. Sigh...
I don't know if such a significant difference from the average height for an 8-year-old is serious or not. I looked into growth clinics, but the reviews are so mixed that I feel lost about where to find reliable information. If anyone has experience catching up to the average height for an 8-year-old, please let me know what kind of care was effective at that stage!

When I was 8 and my height was average, I naively thought I was fine, but I was the shortest throughout elementary school, and even now in my first year of middle school, I'm still short. I have so many regrets because I feel like things would have been completely different if I had been more proactive in looking into it back then...
Oh my, hearing that really woke me up. I shouldn't be complacent either; I need to start taking proper care of them from now on!
Wow... I had the exact same concern. In my case, after I learned about oral growth hormone, I gave it to my child for about six months, and they grew 8cm! I really made them exercise and gave them massages—I did everything—but they started growing after I gave them the oral growth hormone.
I'm in the same situation. What should I search for to find out?
I think I've heard of it... by any chance, were there any side effects?
I give my child Zynex tablets as an oral growth hormone supplement! You should be able to find them if you search for them haha. I trust them the most because they contain a patented growth ingredient.
I've been giving it to him for 6 months now, and he grew 8cm without any special effort haha. Also, I recommended Zynex to people around me, and now 4 more are taking it. They are actually seeing results, so everyone around me is taking it too.
Wow, that's amazing. I need to order a 6-month supply of Zynex tablets.
I also scoured all the mom cafes and communities for information on the average height of an 8-year-old, but the experiences were so varied that I didn't know which ones to apply. I totally relate to how hard it is to find proper information on how to care for your child at this age.
The more I searched, the more confused I became about what was right, too. It's really hard to find someone with genuine personal experience.
My child has been short since the average height of age 8, and even at 10, they still haven't been able to catch up to the average height.
Oh, I'm worried too. I feel like I need to catch up to the average height of an 8-year-old first.
I'm also really stressed out because of my child's height.
Let's cheer each other on..!!
