Hey everyone, so I've been looking into getting double eyelid surgery and I keep seeing how popular it is to go to Seoul for this. I'm from the US and I'm genuinely torn about whether it makes sense to travel all that way. Like, there are places closer to me, but I've heard such good things about clinics in Korea and the prices seem more accessible? But then I think about the travel costs, time off work, and the whole jet lag recovery situation...

I guess what I'm really wondering is: have any of you actually made the trip from abroad? How did you decide if it was worth it? What was the recovery process like while being so far from home? I'm not looking for medical advice obviously, just trying to get real talk about whether the combination of cost, expertise, and experience actually adds up. I'm also unsure how to even vet clinics from overseas — like, what should I even be looking for or asking about?

Also, if anyone's done this, how long did you end up staying in Seoul? I want to be realistic about the whole timeline and whether I can actually make it work with my schedule. Any honest perspectives would help me think this through!
