Strange, but I just got back from South Korea this month and had a few minor procedures. I read the tips for keeping my skin well-conditioned before I came back, but I’m not sure if any of them actually help in practice.
I brought four things from local stores: a peeling mask, a silicone patch, and a nice recovery gel. Before doing any major work, what did you bring? What was the best and most useful in your experience? I’m not sure exactly what company’s products I’m going to take, so I’d like to get some general advice!
Oh, and one more question – did you use any kind of exfoliating product to control the redness or irritation during recovery? I’m a bit conflicted about this, and I’m not sure about the amount!

Wow, I'm also thinking about buying similar products before I go to Korea! Glad to hear you've tried them and found some good ones—I'd love to know which ones helped the most during the recovery period.
Wow, I also thought about going to Korea soon and trying the same things, so thanks for the advice! But I'm also confused about the brands and products to buy, I mean, this is the first time I've really thought about them.
Oh my god, I totally understand how you feel! I bought a ton of stuff when I went to Korea last time, only to find out I didn't need a lot of it, haha. Regarding skincare during recovery, my experience is that gentleness is key. Too much exfoliation can actually make your skin more sensitive, so you might need to assess your skin's condition before deciding!
