Or is it just me who prepares aftercare items from home before going to Korea for some minor adjustments? 😅 I'm going in a few weeks and I'm torn between buying things there or bringing them from Vietnam. I'd like to ask those who have been before — what do you usually pack? Cooling masks, silicone sheets for scars, or some kind of soothing gel?
I'm worried that buying them locally might be a bit expensive, but I'm not sure if bringing them from home would be suitable. And what about flying with these items — is that okay? I'm also not sure if I should prepare them now or wait until after the procedure to buy and use them.
Can anyone with experience share their insights? I want to make sure I take good care of myself during this trip. Thank you! 💙

I'm also considering this! I feel like your idea is very thorough. I'm currently torn between bringing some things from home or buying them once I get to Korea. I've heard some skincare products are indeed a bit more expensive locally, but a friend also mentioned that Korea has a special abundance of local options with guaranteed quality. I think it might be safer to bring some essentials and then see what the situation is like to supplement the rest once I'm there?
I completely understand your concerns! Before my last trip to Korea, I also agonized over whether to bring things from Taiwan 😅 My experience is that gentle cleansers and cooling masks, for example, are readily available at local drugstores in Korea, and there's a huge variety. Sometimes, buying them on the spot can help you find products that suit you faster. However, if you're particular about specific brands or ingredients, bringing some beforehand won't hurt. Just remember to pack liquids in your carry-on's liquid bag, and you'll be good to go on the plane!
