Hello, group! I'm currently facing a rather difficult decision. There's a medical procedure I'm considering, and I have the option of getting it done either in Mongolia or in Korea. Of course, getting it done in Mongolia would be easier, closer, and cheaper. However, I've heard so much about the expertise and the level of procedures in Korea...
My mindset is a bit traditional and simple. I trust Mongolian clinics, but I'm not very familiar with the technology or the quality of execution offered by the choices available. The main draw for going to Korea seems to be the high level of service and experienced specialists. Are there any members of the group who have been to Korea before or have undergone similar procedures there?
If you've been in a similar situation, what were your thoughts and feelings? What factors were most important in your decision-making? Cost, distance, waiting times, clinic quality – all of these are very significant. I'd love to hear from the experts!

I can understand your hesitation! I was also torn between these two options before, and I ended up choosing to go to Korea. I think the most important thing is to consider how high your expectations are for this procedure. If you really care about details and long-term results, it might be worth spending more time and money to experience different levels of expertise. However, if you just want to try it out first, doing it locally is completely fine. I suggest you look for more opinions from people who have had similar experiences!
I'm in a similar situation, so I truly understand how you feel! I think the biggest issue is that if any problems arise later, it'll be difficult to follow up or adjust if you're back home. In Korea, at least you can return if needed.
