Hi, my name is May. I'm planning a trip to Korea next week, but I'm still a bit behind on preparing for post-treatment skincare. I'm worried about what I should pack to help my skin heal faster during the recovery period.
I've heard that after some types of treatment, the face might become inflamed or red, so I'm trying to figure out what kind of cooling masks or sheet masks would be best. I'm also unsure whether I should use a new skin-soothing gel or cream, and has anyone used silicone patches before?
Has anyone had experience packing these items for a trip to Korea? Could you please give me some advice on what to pack and where I can find them in Korea? I'm worried I won't have enough! 😭

My last trip to Seoul was also after surgery. My advice is to bring some refreshing, moisturizing face masks and a cooling spray, so you can use them on the plane and during your recovery period. It's also best to bring sunscreen, as your skin will be more sensitive after surgery. Korean convenience stores have a huge selection of face masks, but I still prefer to bring some familiar products for peace of mind!
I was just as worried as you when I first went to Korea and planned a skin treatment! You can prepare some basic soothing products from home, but actually, it's very easy to find suitable products at large cosmetics stores in Korea, so don't worry too much. I suggest asking the therapist for detailed instructions after the treatment; they usually know best what you need to take care of in the first few days!
I'm just as worried as you! I'm planning to go to Korea next week and I'm not sure what to prepare for skin recovery after treatment. I'm trying to figure out whether I should bring gentle products from home or buy them there for convenience, but I haven't decided yet. Does anyone in the community have experience with this? 😅
I totally sympathize, May! I was worried like that too when I went to Korea for the first time 😅 Actually, I had to buy things at stores in Korea because I didn't prepare enough, but it was okay because it's so easy to find a wide variety of sheet masks and cooling gels there. I think it's good to prepare a little from home, but don't worry too much. Other people's experiences will probably be helpful in sharing them with us.
