Hi, I'm Tien from Vietnam. I'm looking to try an aesthetic procedure in Korea but I'm struggling with calculating the costs. Besides the procedure fee itself, I also need to factor in flights, accommodation, food, etc. And strangely, I'm not sure how long I should stay. I've heard some procedures require follow-up appointments and recovery also takes time. Have any of you been through this before? How should I budget reasonably?
I'm considering whether to schedule multiple consultation appointments to get a clearer idea of the costs, or if I should do some research online first before deciding. I'm also worried about recovery – if I can only stay for a few days, wouldn't that be too rushed? I've seen people mention that recovery time varies depending on the type of procedure.
I'm hoping those with experience can share some planning tips with me. Should I book flexible flights, or are there ways to save money? And most importantly, how long should I allocate for the entire trip? Thank you all so much!

Hey Tiến! I totally get the overwhelm—I did this last year from the US and honestly, getting a few initial consultations done online before booking your flights really helped me figure out the timeline and rough costs. That way I knew how many days I actually needed to stay without rushing the recovery, and I could book more flexible flights. Definitely worth spending a week or two just gathering info first!
To Tièn, that sounds tough. By the way, a friend who's had treatments in Singapore and Thailand a few times told me that the initial consultation alone didn't require a week-long stay. Since you're coming from Vietnam, the flight time must be quite significant, right? How many days are you actually planning to stay in Korea? I guess it really depends on the type of procedure, doesn't it?
