Hi everyone! I'm Chiahui, and I'm currently considering a short treatment in Seoul, but honestly, my Korean is limited, and I'm completely lost when reading reviews on Naver or other Korean-language websites. Has anyone else relied on Google Translate or other tools to research things like this? I'd like to ask how you judge the authenticity of reviews? Some reviews are incredibly positive, while others are extremely negative, and I really don't know who to believe.
I'd especially like to know if there are any red flags that foreigners should be wary of? For example, what constitutes disrespect during a consultation, or what aspects of their consultation process might make you feel uneasy? I'm worried that due to the language barrier, I might miss some important details.
Can anyone share how they find reliable places? Is it through friend recommendations, or by looking at certain characteristics in reviews? Or are there any methods to verify their legitimacy? Thank you for your help!

I completely understand your concerns! I'm a foreigner too, and I was initially confused when using Google Translate to read Korean reviews. Some of the translations sounded strange, and I couldn't understand what the people were really thinking. I later discovered that it's much more effective to communicate directly with people from similar backgrounds than just reading the reviews—you can ask them about their actual experiences and the atmosphere during the consultation. This is much more reliable than blindly trusting an article.
It's clear that you're expressing an opinion! I also had a language barrier when I was starting out, so I understand what you're saying. I think it's good to reflect on and ask your friends when reading different comments.
