Part of me is really curious, but honestly I'm torn about whether it makes sense to fly all the way from the US for this. Like, yes, I've heard Korea has amazing surgeons and a whole culture around cosmetic procedures, but I'd also need to factor in flights, accommodation, time off work, and the whole recovery thing while being away from home.

Has anyone here actually done this? I'm trying to figure out: Is the quality/experience so different that it justifies the travel hassle? And how do you even choose a surgeon when you're looking from abroad—like, what did you actually base your decision on? I'm nervous about communication barriers too, even though I know many places have English-speaking coordinators.
