Hi everyone, I'm Xinyi. I'm planning to go to Korea next month for a small procedure and I'm currently struggling to decide what aftercare products to bring. I've heard that cooling compresses and soothing treatments are especially important in the first few days after the procedure, so I'm wondering if I should bring some cooling masks, silicone sheet masks, and repair gels from China beforehand?
I'm worried about not being used to the local products, plus I don't understand the language very well. Having familiar brands from China would give me more peace of mind. However, I'd also like to ask if it's possible to buy more suitable aftercare products in Korea? Or is it really okay not to worry too much and just bring the basics?
Have any of you ladies been there before? Could you share what you brought and how it was? I'd especially like to hear whether it's necessary to stock up on cooling masks and sheet masks in advance. Thank you everyone!

I'm also thinking the same thing before leaving for Korea next month! I don't think there's any need to overthink it, just bring a few familiar products that already suit your skin, then shop for the rest here if necessary—pharmacies and cosmetic stores in Korea are plentiful and the staff are usually helpful even with the language barrier. Hopefully, the process goes smoothly and your recovery is fast! 🙏
Hey sis, did you know there are so many choices of products in Korea these days? I was worried like you at first, but it turns out it's easy to find suitable items, it's just a little difficult to communicate. How long are you planning to stay in Korea? Do you have time to shop?
