Like, obviously there's the procedure itself, but then I'm trying to think through flights, accommodation, how many days I'd actually need to be there for recovery... it adds up fast in my head and I'm not even sure where to start.

I keep reading that some people come for a week or two, others say a few days is enough depending on what you're doing. I'm also wondering about the reality of flying back—like, would I actually be in good shape to sit on a plane for 15 hours right after? And should I budget for someone to come with me, or do people usually go solo? I'm trying to be realistic about costs without spending way more than I need to.
