Hi everyone! So I'm planning to have a minor procedure in Korea next month, but I can only stay for a week. My biggest concern is the swelling and how to manage aftercare when I get back home.
Has anyone had any experience with this? How many days does the swelling usually last? And what should I bring from Korea to help with the healing process? I'm curious to know what local products are worth it and easy to bring in your luggage without causing a hassle at customs.
Also, I wanted to ask if there are any special tips for managing swelling during plane travel? I'm a bit nervous since this is my first time having a procedure like this. I'd really appreciate it if anyone could share their experience! 💕

I completely understand your concerns! I also worked on a small project before leaving the country, and I'm flying back in a week, so I was really nervous. Many people say that swelling is most noticeable in the first few days and then gradually subsides, but everyone's experience is different. My advice is to bring some cooling compresses and soothing face masks. Drinking plenty of water and elevating your legs on the plane are also important. Good luck!
I'm actually thinking about doing something similar next month, so I'm really curious about your experience too! I've heard from a few people that swelling can vary a lot depending on what you get done, but honestly I'm nervous about the same thing with my flight back. Definitely keen to see what tips people share!
I'm also about to go to Korea for paperwork this time, so I understand your worries! I've heard that swelling is usually quite significant in the first week, but it gradually decreases each day, so you should still have time before you leave. Did you ask the doctor there about how to take care of yourself while flying? I'm looking into it too 😅
