Hi, my name is Fern, and I'm currently seriously considering whether or not to go to Cello for double eyelid surgery. I've felt like my eyes have looked tired for a while now, but I'm not sure if it's really worth going that far to find better quality in Thailand. Has anyone had a good experience at Cello?
I'd like to know what people usually consider when deciding to go abroad, because it involves factors like airfare, accommodation, recovery time, and other expenses. It makes me wonder if it's worth it. And especially, how would I handle post-operative care if there are any issues?
Does anyone have similar experiences or thoughts? I'd appreciate advice from those who have gone through this. For example, what's the most important factor in making this decision? Or should I really try to find a good clinic in Thailand first before making a final decision? Thank you!

Hey Fun! I totally get the hesitation about traveling so far – I went to Korea from the US last year and honestly the travel costs added up quick. My tip: before committing to any destination, maybe get consultations (even virtual ones) from a few places to compare what they're actually recommending for your eyes? That helped me feel way more confident about the decision, and I realized I didn't need to go as far as I thought. Good luck with whatever you decide!
I was thinking the same thing! I understand your concerns about cost and post-operative care. However, there are many people from Thailand who do this as well. It seems that keeping a clean eye on options, finding a good doctor, and maintaining post-operative contact are very important. Or maybe you could compare local options before making a decision!
Pen-san, I completely understand how you feel! I had the same worries when I was considering getting treatment overseas. Of course, traveling far away is worrying because of the cost and recovery time, and aftercare in case of any problems is also a concern. Ultimately, I decided to make my decision based on how much satisfaction I was looking for and whether there were good options within a reasonable distance. I think it's best for you to continue researching Thailand as an option, Pen-san, and take your time deciding. 😊
