Hi, my name is Ploy. I'm planning to go to Korea for a non-surgical rhinoplasty, but I'd like to know how long the downtime will be. It won't be very long after arriving in Korea and returning to Thailand.
Has anyone had this procedure done before? Could you tell me how many days after the surgery the doctor said it would take to return to work? Is swelling and redness normal? How long does it last? Is it safe to return to Thailand afterwards?
I'd like real information from other people's experiences because I'm quite worried that a long journey might affect how my face looks in other people's eyes. 😅

I understand your concerns! I also traveled back to Thailand after a non-surgical procedure in Korea and was shocked by the swelling and redness. 😅 Try to ask your doctor clearly how many days in the first few days the changes will be most noticeable, because flying and long-distance travel really do require time for recovery.
Hey Ploy, I'm actually thinking about doing the same thing soon so I'm curious about the timeline too! I've heard from friends that most people see the initial swelling go down pretty quickly, but I'm definitely asking the doctor about how much downtime to expect before traveling—sounds like you'll want to give yourself a few days at least just to be safe. Hope you find someone you're comfortable with!
Froi, I understand! I had the same worries. 😅 In my case, there was swelling and redness for a few days after the procedure, but it had subsided considerably by the time I returned to Thailand, so I think the safest thing to do is to discuss the specific schedule with your doctor. It would be great to hear about other people's experiences too!
