Thinking about flying to Seoul for double eyelid surgery—is it really worth it from the US?

Hey everyone! I've been seriously considering getting a double eyelid procedure done in Seoul, and I'm trying to figure out if the whole trip is actually worth it. I know Korea has a huge reputation for this kind of work, and I've seen some amazing results from people online. But I'm honestly torn about whether to just go local or take on the hassle of traveling internationally for it.

My main concerns are: timing (I'd need to take time off work), recovery while being far from home, and whether the cost savings actually make sense once I factor in flights and accommodation). Plus I'm kind of nervous about the language barrier and follow-up care if something feels off weeks later. Has anyone here done this from abroad?
