Hi, I'm Yuna. I'm thinking about getting beauty procedures done in Korea, but to be honest, my Korean isn't that great, and I'm struggling with how to read clinic reviews and things like that.
I've tried using translation apps, but I still can't quite grasp the subtle nuances... Especially things like "Is this review actually genuine?" or "Does something feel off about this?", it's really hard to judge. How do you all find clinics you can trust? If there are any red flags I should watch out for, I'd really appreciate it if you could share those pointers with me.
Because I'm a foreigner, I don't have much information available, and it makes me anxious... Has anyone else had similar experiences? How do you actually go about making those judgments?

I'm thinking the same thing, Yuna! As a foreigner whose Korean is still in learning mode, it feels really overwhelming when reading reviews—especially when you can't tell which ones are genuine or astroturf. I try asking local friends or community groups like this one for a second opinion, because I think interpersonal recommendations are more trustworthy than just relying on online reviews alone.
