Hi everyone, I'm Peiyu. I've been thinking a lot lately about whether I should fly to Seoul for double eyelid surgery. Of course, it can be done in Taiwan, but a few friends have told me that Korean aesthetics and techniques seem quite different, and it appears many people go there for it anyway. However, I'm still a bit hesitant because if I fly over, I have to consider airfare, accommodation, and taking time off work. I also need to factor in the recovery period after the surgery. Has anyone flown from abroad to get it done? Did you find it troublesome, or was the whole process quite smooth?

My biggest concern is if there are any post-surgery issues that require follow-up visits or adjustments. Being in Taiwan would make it harder to coordinate with the clinic. Plus, I have no idea which clinic to choose; there's too much information online, and I don't know how to evaluate it. Can anyone share how they made their decision? Was it based on a friend's recommendation, or did you do extensive research yourself?
