Hey everyone! So I'm seriously considering getting some work done while I'm in Korea next month, but I'm realizing how hard it is to actually trust reviews when I can barely read Korean. I've been trying to use Google Translate on some clinic sites and reviews, but honestly it feels sketchy — like I'm probably missing nuances or important details.
I'm wondering how other international visitors navigate this? Do you rely on before/afters you can see, English-speaking consultants, or recommendations from friends? Also, are there any red flags I should be watching out for when looking at clinics or their online presence? I feel like anyone can post positive stuff about themselves, but what would actually worry you as a foreigner trying to make an informed decision?
I'm not looking for a specific recommendation (I know that's not how this works lol), but more like... general tips on what makes a place feel trustworthy versus sketchy when you can't fully communicate in the local language? Any advice would be really appreciated!
