Hi everyone! I'm Jiaqi. I had some minor procedures done in Korea and am currently in the recovery period. I was a bit worried about post-operative care, so I brought a lot of stuff, but now I regret not asking what other people brought.
I'm currently using cooling masks and some soothing gels, and they're working pretty well. But I'm wondering if there are any other recommended post-operative products? Like silicone scar patches or other cooling compresses? I've heard some people bring their own specific lotions or masks, and I'd like to know how everyone chooses them.
Has anyone else brought a lot of stuff from Taiwan? Or did anyone buy it at a local drugstore? I'd love to hear everyone's experiences and see if there are any skincare tips I might have overlooked. The recovery period is quite long, so I want to take good care of myself!

Wow, I'm also thinking about trying something in Korea and worried about aftercare! It's great that you've prepared a cooling mask and soothing gel, I think those are the essentials most people recommend. I also wanted to ask, is it better to buy aftercare products here or wait until you get to Korea? I hope your recovery goes smoothly! 🙏
Wow, did you bring the cooling mask and soothing gel from home or buy them there? I'm curious because I'm also planning to go to Korea for a treatment but I'm not sure where to start with good aftercare products, hehe. Do I need to bring them from Indonesia, or is it easier to buy them there?
I just got back from Korea too and totally understand the worry! I brought a cooling mask and soothing essence from there, but it turns out there are lots of great local products that are more affordable. I think the most important thing is to be consistent with your skincare routine and avoid things that can irritate your skin during recovery — I'm still learning, but hopefully we can share tips if we run into any issues haha.
