Hi, my name is May. I'm planning a trip to Korea for beauty treatments, but I'm a little worried about finding post-treatment skincare products. I was thinking of bringing a few things from Thailand, like chilled face masks or silicone sheets for wound care, and a suitable amount of soothing gel for my stay.
Has anyone been to Korea before or is preparing for one? Do you have any recommendations on what to bring, or what products are easily available in Korean department stores? I'm not sure how many days I'll be in Korea after the treatments, so I'd like to know what products others found most satisfactory, as I want my skin to recover as best as possible.
Thank you so much in advance! I'd love to hear about your experiences.

May, I understand! I was worried about the same thing. Korean department stores and drugstores have a really wide variety of skincare products, so I think you can find quite a lot there. However, just in case, I brought my usual cooling wipes and soothing gel with me. I figured it would be reassuring to have familiar products because my skin is sensitive at that time of year 😊
Hey May! I'm actually planning something similar and was worried about the same thing — I think bringing some of your own familiar products is smart since you know what works for your skin. I've heard Korean department stores have tons of soothing and hydrating options, so you'll probably find backup stuff easily there too if you need it!
Hi Mei! I was worried about that too before going to Korea for a treatment. It's actually really easy to find soothing and cooling masks in drugstores and department stores, so you probably don't need to bring too many from Thailand—but bringing silicone sheets is a good idea, as each person's needs can be quite specific. Hope your treatment goes well!
