I've been considering this for a while now. Many friends have told me that eye surgery in Seoul is high-quality and offers various approaches, but I'm hesitant about whether it's worth the long journey. The cost of airfare, hotel, plus taking time off work... it all adds up to a significant amount.
I'd like to ask if any of you have considered this? I'm unsure whether I should choose a local clinic or explore options in Seoul. Also, I'm worried about having someone to support me after the surgery, the recovery process being far from home... Do you have any experience balancing cost, quality, and convenience?
If you've had this experience, I'd love to hear your opinions on the important factors to consider. Thank you!

I'm thinking about this too! The hardest part is arranging the time and transportation costs, and I completely understand your concerns. I'd love to hear more experiences from those who have gone through this so I know whether I should go to Seoul or look around my neighborhood.
Having someone's support for post-operative care is a really important point. If you have surgery at a local hospital, what is the post-operative check-up and follow-up like? Or would you feel more at ease choosing a trustworthy hospital even if it's far away?
I understand your concerns! I'd like to ask if you've consulted anyone in your current city about this? I'm also considering this issue, wondering if the difference between local hospitals and those in Seoul is really that significant.
Traveling long distances is really tough, isn't it? I have a question: I've heard that you need someone by your side for post-operative care, but have you already considered support arrangements for your recovery period?
I totally feel the same concerns! As an outsider, I was also confused about whether to travel all the way to Seoul or find somewhere closer. What also made me hesitant was the travel costs and recovery time so far from home. Maybe we could try consulting online with a few places first to compare, then see which one makes the most sense in terms of distance and support during recovery?
