Hi everyone, I'm Wulan from Jakarta. So I've been thinking for a long time about getting a minor skincare procedure, but I'm really stuck between two options: getting it done here with a dermatologist I know, or waiting for my vacation to try it in Korea. I've heard great things from friends about treatments there, but honestly, I'm also worried about the logistical hassle, especially if there are any complications.
On one hand, if I get it done in Indonesia, I can have follow-ups with the same doctor consistently, and the costs seem more straightforward. But on the other hand, I'm curious about the technology and techniques that are said to be more advanced in Korea. What also makes me hesitate is whether it's really worth it for potentially similar results? I don't know the prices in Korea, but I have a feeling it's expensive.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you make your decision? Do the treatment types really yield vastly different results, or is it more of a psychological thing because of the Korean beauty "trend"? I'd really appreciate it if anyone wants to share their experiences! 🙏
