Hi, my name is Tao, and I'm seriously considering getting a medical procedure in South Korea. However, I'm facing a big problem: I don't know how much to budget and how many days would be appropriate to stay there. Honestly, I've never done this before, and I'm worried I might forget something.
Besides the procedure itself, do I need to budget for airfare, accommodation, food, and supplies? Could anyone tell me how much foreigners typically budget and how long the program lasts? I'd appreciate hearing from those who have already gone, not just guesses.
Another question is: after the procedure, what sun protection products should I use, and what activities should I avoid? And how many days after the procedure should I book my flight? I don't want to be away for too many days with wound healing or smoking. Could someone please provide a basic roadmap? Thank you!

Hi Tao! From my experience, it's really important to calculate your total budget, including flights and accommodation—don't just focus on the price of the procedure. I recommend booking your return flight at least a week after the procedure so your body is truly prepared and you don't have to rush, because long trips can be quite tiring when your body is still recovering. Hope this helps, and I hope your trip goes smoothly! 😊
Tao, this is my first time going to Korea too, so I understand your anxiety! I think you should contact the clinics directly to ask for details about prices and recovery time, as each case is different. Regarding your flight back, I think you should allow a few extra buffer days after the procedure for safety, rather than rushing. Have a wonderful trip!
