Hello everyone! I'm Bunga, and this is my first time trying aesthetic treatments in Korea. Honestly, I'm a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of reviews and forums out there. The problem is, I can't read Korean fluently, so it's really difficult to verify information or understand the actual treatment details. Does anyone have tips on how I can feel more confident in my choices? Are there other languages usually available on the websites?
Also, I'd love to know — are there any red flags I should watch out for? For example, what typically indicates a fake review or a claim that's too good to be true? Because on Instagram, I see so many before-after photos claiming to be treatment results, but I have no idea which ones are genuine.
So, if anyone has been through this, please share your experiences! How did you navigate the language barrier, and how did you feel confident about your choice of treatment clinic? I seriously need some reassurance before committing hehe 🙏

I completely understand how you feel! I had the same issue last year, and what I did was find a friend who speaks English to help me make the call for consultation. This way, I could ask for details directly, which felt much more reliable than just reading reviews. Also, I found that many clinics actually offer Chinese or English consultation services, so you can ask about that directly instead of agonizing over Korean reviews 😊
This is my first time encountering this situation too! 😅 My tip is to look for places with English-speaking staff or chat with them beforehand via Instagram/website to see if they're patient with explanations. Then, check reviews on international platforms like Reddit or Trustpilot, which are more reliable than Instagram because there's less photoshopping.
