Hello everyone! I'm Rana from the UAE and I just finished a minor procedure here in Korea. Honestly, it's my first time doing something like this, and the swelling and bruising are a bit scary 😅. I'm on day two now and my face is still a little swollen, and I'm not sure how to take proper care of myself.
I have some questions for any of the girls who have gone through this before: Is an ice pack really helpful in the first few days? How many times a day? How do you manage the swelling? Also, is it safe to use makeup and skincare products, or should we stop for a while? Are there any daily habits that help with faster recovery?
Any advice based on personal experience would be greatly appreciated! I'm trying to be patient, but I'm actually a little worried the swelling will last a long time 😔. Thanks, girls, for your help!

Rena, have you asked your doctor when you can wash your face normally again? I'm about to have a similar procedure done, so I'm a little worried 😅
This was my first time doing this too, and I was so worried about the swelling for the first few days! My little trick is to not apply ice directly to my face; wrapping it with a clean towel makes it much more comfortable. Also, the doctor told me to avoid touching that area for the first three days, and even to stop using skincare products. This helps the swelling go down faster! 💙
Hi Rana! This is my first time experiencing something like this, and I totally understand your anxiety. 😅 By the way, did you receive any specific instructions from the treatment center regarding post-treatment care before the procedure? I'm curious to know if everyone is given the same instructions or if they vary depending on the procedure.
