Hi everyone, I'm Hui. I've been considering getting a small aesthetic procedure done in Korea, but to be honest, I'm a bit unsure how to plan the trip and budget. I've never had cosmetic procedures done abroad before, so I'm feeling a little nervous.
My biggest concern right now is how long the trip will take. Should I stay for a week or two? How long will it take to recover enough to fly before and after the surgery/treatment? Also, how should I budget for airfare, accommodation, and the procedure itself? I've looked at some information, but the prices seem to vary wildly, and I'm not sure if they're all accurate.
Have any of you ladies had similar procedures done in Korea before? Could you share how long you stayed? And how did you find a suitable clinic? I'd like to know what hidden costs I need to consider besides the procedure itself. Doing research beforehand is really important for these kinds of things…
Thank you everyone, I look forward to hearing your experiences!

I completely understand how you feel, Hui! I had the same anxieties at first. It's hard to know where to start researching things like the length of stay and budget, isn't it? I also prepared little by little by listening to the experiences of others, so if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them!
I'm also considering doing a small project in South Korea, and I completely understand your concerns! I'm currently struggling with how long to stay; a week might be too rushed, two weeks would feel more reassuring. I look forward to seeing everyone's experiences shared, as this will help us plan better!
I'm considering something similar! One to two weeks seems realistic, giving me time to recover without taking too much time off work. I'm also struggling to find a reliable place; I've seen many posts with vastly different prices, so I completely understand your concerns.
I feel the same way because this is my first time coming from abroad! It's fun to stay for a week or two, I'm planning on staying for a month, and I agree that you need time to relax after the service. It would be very helpful if you could find people to share your experiences with!
I'm in a similar situation to Hui, so I find it very relaxing! I'm also unsure how long to stay and worried about flying back later, but from what I've heard, people usually stay for 1-2 weeks to allow enough time to recover. Hui should look for Vietnamese forums or ask people who have been there before for the most realistic experience.
Oh, I was thinking the same thing! It's the same for me, I don't know how long we'll be staying. If anyone has experience with this, please share! 😅
