I'm thinking of getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul, but I'm not sure if it's worth the trip.

Hi everyone, I'm Yao Yao. I've been considering getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul lately, but I'm a bit unsure. There are good doctors in China, but I've heard that South Korea is more advanced in this area, and many people go there specifically for it. However, the cost of airfare, accommodation, and time is definitely a significant expense. Has anyone else considered this, or even already done it?

My biggest dilemma is how to determine if it's worth it. Should I just go because I've heard South Korea has good techniques, or should I do a more rational comparison? I'm still gathering information to see how different it is between China and Seoul. Also, if I do decide to go, I'm unsure how to plan my trip, and how long the pre- and post-operative recovery periods will be—these are all concerns I'm concerned about.

Could experienced people share how they made their decision? What ultimately led you to decide to have the surgery abroad? Or, if you later chose to have it done in China, what were your reasons? I really want to hear everyone's thoughts.
