Hello everyone! I'm Kartika from Indonesia and I'm planning to have aesthetic treatment in Korea next year. But I'm honestly really nervous about how to find a truly trustworthy clinic, especially since I don't speak Korean fluently.
Can anyone give me some tips on how foreigners usually research and choose a clinic? I'd like to know what I should check before booking a consultation. For example, do many clinics have English or even Indonesian interpreters? I'm worried that poor communication will make the consultation unclear and I won't be able to ask detailed questions.
Also, has anyone had experience with online consultations before coming to Korea? Is it worth it, or is it better to come in person? I'd really appreciate it if anyone could share their experience on this. Thank you! 🙏

Hi Katika! I'm also worried about language communication. I was wondering if you've considered contacting the hospital in advance via WeChat or other social media to confirm if they offer Chinese or English consultation services? I've heard that some hospital consultants reply to emails in English, which would be helpful to find out beforehand.
Hi Katika! I'm also worried about the language barrier and wanted to ask if you've considered finding an agency that can provide Chinese or English translation? I've heard that some places do offer such services, but I don't know how reliable they are.
Hi Kartika! I'm also from Indonesia and totally understand your concern — communication is key. I recommend checking to see if they have staff who speak English or your local language, and don't hesitate to ask lots of questions during your initial consultation, whether online or offline!
