Hi everyone, I'm Ying. I'm currently considering getting a minor cosmetic procedure in Korea, but I've run into a problem—my Korean isn't very good, and I'm struggling to read reviews for many clinics. Sometimes I can't even tell which reviews are genuine. I'd like to ask you all, how do you distinguish between genuine and fake reviews? Are there any warning signs I should be wary of?
I've noticed that some clinic reviews seem unrealistically positive, or they're from very new accounts, which makes me a little uneasy. Also, some reviews are very brief and lack detail. Is this a red flag? Furthermore, if my Korean is really bad, is there any way to more confidently research a clinic's reputation?
I'd also like to know what else you do besides reading reviews when choosing a clinic. Has anyone used translation tools to read reviews? How effective were they? I feel a bit helpless and hope experienced women can give me some advice!

I totally understand your anxiety! I'm also trying to find a good clinic, and reading reviews is really difficult because of the language barrier 😅 But actually, I find that reviews with pictures and detailed, genuine comments (not just short, weird ones) are much more reliable. You could try asking international friends who have had the procedure done, or look for international groups on social media!
