Hi everyone! I'm Jing, just arrived from mainland China. I've been thinking about getting a cosmetic procedure done here in Korea, but honestly, as a foreigner, I'm feeling a bit lost. I wanted to ask you all—how did you find clinics you could trust? My biggest concern is the communication issue—how's their English or Chinese? Are there any reliable translation services out there?
I've looked at tons of online reviews, but it's hard to tell what's real and what's not. So I'm curious—what channels did you all use to find your clinics? Through friends, social media, or something else? Also, what are the key questions I should ask during my first consultation?
One more thing—is there anything I need to prepare before going? Like what documents I need to bring or how far in advance I should book? I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences—it would make me feel so much more confident about this. Thanks so much!

Hey Jing! I totally get the communication anxiety — I was so worried about that too when I first came here. Honestly, asking about their English-speaking staff during your initial call/consultation really does help; some places are way better at this than others, and it's totally fair to ask! I also found it super helpful to bring a friend who speaks Korean if possible, or at least have Google Translate ready on your phone. Good luck with your search!
