Hi, my name is Fah, and I'm currently in a difficult situation trying to decide where to get an aesthetic procedure done. In Thailand, I know and trust good clinics, but everyone says going to Korea is better and gives better results. I'm confused about how true this is and whether it's worth the hassle of traveling so far.
However, I'm concerned about the follow-up time after the procedure in Korea. Will I have to return to Thailand myself? And what about the total cost (airfare, accommodation, plus the procedure itself)? Will it be significantly higher? I'm not sure which country would be more cost-effective.
I'd like to ask those here: Why did you decide to go to Korea? Or did you have a satisfactory result after the procedure in Thailand? Did you encounter any problems during the follow-up? Are there others who are as hesitant as I am? I would appreciate advice based on your real-life experiences. 💭

Hi! I was able to get my last check-ups done online when I returned from my recent trip, which was great. I think it's a good idea to ask in advance if you can do a video consultation while you're in your home country — doctors usually have this insurance.
I completely understand your dilemma! I also hesitated between Thailand and South Korea, but ultimately decided to try South Korea, mainly because many people said they felt more confident about the long-term effects and the doctors' experience. However, to be honest, the round-trip airfare, accommodation, and surgery fees are indeed a significant expense, and you need to be very careful with post-operative care because the doctor will be far away after you return. I hope to hear other women's real experiences!
