Hi everyone, I'm Uyen and I'm currently feeling quite conflicted about a decision. I want to undergo some aesthetic procedures, and I've found many great options available domestically. However, I've also heard many positive stories from friends about going to South Korea for treatments. I'm feeling unsure about which path to choose.
I'm worried about safety if I have procedures done locally, and if I go to Korea, I'm concerned about the cost, travel arrangements, and future follow-ups. I'm also not sure if the results in Korea are truly different or if I'm just influenced by marketing, haha. Has anyone here been in a similar situation? I'd love to hear about your experiences — how did you decide, what were your reasons, and do you have any regrets?
Thanks in advance! I really need advice from those who have been through this.

I totally get your dilemma! I was also torn between staying in China and coming to Korea before. I decided to consult with a few places in China first, then came to Korea for comparison. I found that the main differences were actually in the doctor's experience and the modernity of the equipment, rather than necessarily the country itself. My advice is, if you have vacation time and aren't on a tight budget, you might as well come to Korea and consult first. But definitely don't get swayed by marketing hype – ask around at a few places to truly feel the difference!
Hi Uyen, I'm in the same boat as you! Do you know anyone who went to Korea and was able to maintain their results afterward, or do they have to follow up at home after returning?
Hi Uyen! I also agonized between Vietnam and Taiwan before deciding to try my luck in Korea. My experience is that instead of overthinking it, it’s better to save up some money for a trip to see what styles you like. You can also consult with a few places you feel good about and hear their recommendations. This way, you can be more certain about what you truly want. Of course, post-procedure care and follow-up are also very important, so consider that carefully!
I totally get your confusion, Uyen! I'm in the same boat—wanting to get a treatment but unsure if I should go to Korea or just do it here. What makes me hesitate, besides budget and travel, is what happens if there's an issue or I need follow-up treatment? But I'm really curious about the experiences of those who have tried it, which is why I'm following this thread too. Hopefully, we can both get answers from those who have been through this!
Hey, I might have asked a similar question before, but I went to Seoul based on someone's recommendation! From my experience, I first spoke with good specialists in my own country, but I decided to go to Seoul. It was important to come home and thoroughly process the results after the procedure – it's great that the changes are good, but the period of proper acceptance was key. Even though it involved costs, time, and effort, I'm okay with it as long as I feel good about the decision I made!
Hi Uyen! My friends were mostly compassionate after going to Seoul, but I think the main thing is to find a reliable place – this could be in Vietnam or Korea. If you decide to go, you might be more careful next time, well, let's stop asking questions!
