Hi everyone, I'm Xia. I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and I'm a bit conflicted. I've looked at information about double eyelid surgery in China, but many people say that South Korea has a really good aesthetic sense and technique in this area. I'm tempted to fly there to have it done, but I'm also wondering—is it worth going abroad just for a surgery? Besides airfare and accommodation, I also have to consider not being able to go home during recovery, and those costs add up to quite a bit.
My main concerns are: First, I'm not really sure what kind of double eyelid shape suits me best. Should I consult with someone in China first to get a basic understanding? Second, if I do go to Seoul, how do I find a reliable clinic? I have no idea how to screen clinics, and it seems quite risky. Language is also a problem…
