Hi, I'm Akari. I'm considering cosmetic treatments in Korea, but honestly, my Korean isn't that great, and I'm struggling with how to judge online reviews. 💦
Even when I use translation apps, there are parts that feel a bit off, and some reviews seem questionable as to whether they're genuine... How do you all find reliable information? Are there any red flags that foreigners should be particularly aware of?
For example, should I avoid reviews that are overly positive, or those that make overly detailed medical guarantees...? Also, if I feel something is off during a consultation, should I really look for another place right then and there?
I'd love to hear from others who are considering treatments in Korea, like their experiences and what they looked for!

I feel you! 😭 At first, I also struggled with Korean, but eventually, I asked my Korean friends to help read reviews for me. Or, I'd compare reviews from multiple platforms. If the same thing appeared repeatedly, it felt more trustworthy. And just like you said, if it sounds too good to be true or guarantees results with certainty, be cautious because those signs often aren't genuine. 💙
Aree, I completely understand your concerns! 😅 Have you considered asking directly at the clinic during a visit? You could also inquire about their experience with international patients. This might feel more reassuring than just reading online reviews.
