I've been thinking about getting a cosmetic procedure recently, but I'm so torn. I have doctors and friends I know well in China, so it's convenient to go there for a visit. However, I've heard that Korea's technology and experience in this field are indeed more advanced. But coming to Korea means taking time off work, and I have no idea how much it will cost, plus aftercare might be more troublesome.
I've read some posts where people say Korean doctors' aesthetics and attention to detail are truly different, but others say you can find reliable doctors anywhere. My biggest fear is what if something goes wrong, and follow-up care in Korea would be inconvenient.
Has anyone else faced this kind of dilemma? How did you ultimately decide? What made you feel it was worth coming all the way to Korea for a procedure, or choosing to have it done at home? I'd love to hear your honest thoughts and any points I should consider.

I totally understand your concern because I'm also on the fence about this! 😅 Personally, I think the issue of aftercare and what happens if problems arise is really important. But from what I've heard from many people, if you choose a trustworthy and experienced doctor, the risks are likely very low.
I'm also torn between these two options! Have you looked into the specific costs for the procedure you're interested in? Because I've seen that prices in Korea can be higher, but I'm not sure if it's worth it compared to the quality people talk about.
I totally relate to your concerns about follow-up care if there are any issues; that's what makes me hesitate the most too. But if I may ask, from people you know or have read about, has anyone successfully managed follow-up remotely without a hitch? Or did that ultimately become the reason they chose to go local?
I'm also considering the same thing and can totally understand your dilemma! My biggest concern is also the follow-up care, so now I'm wondering if I should find a doctor who has a referral system or offers remote follow-up services in our country. That might give me a bit more peace of mind.
