Hey everyone! I'm going back and forth on something and would love to hear how others thought through this. I've been considering getting a procedure done, and I found some really good options here in the US where I live. But honestly, the Korea route keeps calling to me—better prices, and the clinics there seem to have way more experience with what I want.
The thing is, I'm nervous about traveling for something like this. Recovery abroad sounds stressful, and what if something feels off and I can't just pop back in for a quick follow-up? Plus there's the whole visa and travel planning on top of everything. But then again, doing it at home feels expensive and I'm second-guessing the level of expertise I'd get locally.
For anyone who's done this before—did you go local or make the trip to Korea? What actually swayed your decision? Was it purely about cost, or did the expertise factor matter more? And real talk, how was recovery while traveling? I'm trying to be smart about this and not just chase a good deal if it's actually riskier. Would love to hear your honest experience!

I totally understand how you feel! I'm also considering the same thing, whether to get it done at home or fly to Korea. My biggest concern is the recovery and follow-up care afterward, but from what my friends who've gone through it say, that period isn't as difficult as I imagined. I'd love to hear everyone's experiences.
