Hi everyone, it's Yi. I've been wrestling with a question lately and would love to hear your thoughts. I'm interested in a certain medical aesthetics procedure, but I'm not sure whether to get it done domestically or in Korea. Getting it done here might be more convenient, and follow-up appointments would be easier. However, I've heard that Korea's medical aesthetics technology and aesthetic concepts are indeed quite different. On the other hand, going to Korea would involve more complexity in terms of cost, time, and post-operative care follow-up.
I know everyone's situation is different, but I'd really like to understand. If any of you have considered or actually made a choice between the two locations, could you share how you weighed your options at the time? For example, what were the main reasons you ultimately chose one side over the other? Was it price, technology, trust, or something else?
I'm not looking for guaranteed results; I just want to hear everyone's genuine thoughts to help me make a more rational decision. Thanks, everyone! ~

I understand that hesitation! I was in the same boat, agonizing over it. In the end, what made me decide to go to Korea was that they truly understood my ideal outcome during the consultation, and they explained the aftercare in detail. But honestly, I think there are good doctors in the country too, so I believe the best approach is to consult with both and decide based on who you feel you can trust.
