Hi everyone, I'm Oanh from Vietnam and I'm planning to visit Seoul for consultations on some beauty procedures. But I'm quite worried because my English is just so-so, and I barely know any Korean. I'd like to ask those with experience — when you go for consultations at places that cater to international clients, can they explain in English? Or should I learn some basic Korean first?
I've heard that areas specializing in beauty in Seoul attract many international customers, so there might be English-speaking staff. But I'm not entirely sure. For those of you who have had consultations without speaking Korean, what was your experience? Is it okay to use Google Translate or other translation apps? I'm a bit afraid I won't fully understand when they explain what they plan to do for me. Does anyone have any experience to share? Thank you all so much!

I think many places do have English-speaking staff, but I wanted to ask if you contacted them in advance? Last time, I explained my needs beforehand via email or translation software, which made the in-person consultation smoother.
Regarding translation apps, I think they'll be quite helpful. But I wanted to ask, where exactly are you planning to go? Have you considered places where you know they have English-speaking staff?
