Hey everyone! So I've been thinking about coming to Korea for a cosmetic procedure, but honestly I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed about the financial side of it all. I know the procedures themselves can be more affordable here than back home, but when I factor in flights, accommodation, time off work... it all starts to add up quickly and I'm not even sure where to start calculating.
I guess my main questions are: How many days do most people actually need to spend here? Like, is it realistic to do the procedure and leave after a week, or do you need longer for recovery and follow-ups? And how did you all budget for the whole trip without going broke? I'm trying to figure out if I should save up for a longer stay versus a quick turnaround.
Also, for anyone who's done this—did you book accommodation near where you were getting treatment, or did you explore other areas? I'm curious how people balance getting the rest they need with not feeling like they're just sitting in a hotel room the whole time. Any tips for making the most of the trip financially would be really helpful!
