Hi everyone! I'm seriously considering going to Korea for an aesthetic procedure I've been thinking about for a while, but I'm honestly feeling pretty overwhelmed trying to figure out the whole logistics and costs. I'm from the US so there's flights, accommodation, and then the procedure itself—and I have no idea how much buffer time I should actually build in.
Like, how many days should I plan to be there total? I'm guessing I can't just fly in, get it done, and leave the next day, right? And then there's recovery time where I might not feel like doing much. Has anyone done this before and can share what the timeline actually looked like for them? I'm trying to be realistic about needing maybe a week or two, but I'm not even sure.
Also, I'm trying to figure out a realistic budget in my head without getting sticker shock. I know costs vary wildly depending on what you get done, but I'm struggling to know what's reasonable to save for. Should I be looking at this as like, a major vacation budget? Has anyone found good resources for planning this kind of trip, or tips on how to research clinics and compare options without getting totally lost?
Feeling a bit in over my head, so any honest experiences or advice would really help me think through whether this is actually doable for me right now 💙
