I'm looking into a facelift, and while the surgery itself is important, everyone says that aftercare is truly crucial.
I'm curious why aftercare is considered that important!
Is it because of swelling or scarring, or is there a difference in the duration of the results?
I've noticed that follow-up checkups and care programs vary from hospital to hospital; is there actually a significant difference?
I'm also curious about how much these things affect the results: managing swelling, scarring, laser or radiofrequency treatments, and post-stitch removal care.
Those of you who have had a facelift, please let me know why aftercare was so important and how you received it.
